manic monday

It was Monday but I don't have the blues since I'm enjoying the mid semester holidays. Went out settling some errands and met my classmates. We'd been promising each other to meet whenever we're home for the past two semesters but we never really actually hang out. So yesterday was the day we finally hung out. We strolled through some stores, which I finally stepped into h&m for the first time since they launched here in Malaysia. Anyways, we had lunch together in Seoul Garden and boy, i ate so much food. I don't eat  steamboat that much but this one is an exception cause I'm in love with their coffee chicken and beef. One of a kind flavour that fascinates me and a friend of mine since others think they don't taste good at all. No matter how good those food are, they cannot be compared with those enjoyable moments we had together. 

Oh and that was the day I had my red lipstick on.

It was her first time here.

instant island

We've been away for almost two and a half months and what better ways to get back together...? An island vacation / trip! My best friends and I decided to go to the historical Langkawi Island, as we planned pretty much a long time ago (that was when we were in semester one, right now is our third semester).

We strolled around the island by car, rental cars to be exact. Each car cost RM70 per day.



There are so much more to come, still a lot to share but I've to go to class. I'll write soon.

eid's evening

Hey, it was one of those days you got to spend with some of your long time friends and it was a great evening of Eid. These are some people I've known since high school and in fact a couple of them are my primary school friends. It was great to meet some old good friends (though it was a little intimidating for me at first, most definitely because I haven't spoken to any of them) and shared everybody's happenings in life since we've been apart for quite sometimes pursuing our dreams. Everybody were in a very good mood and some of us turned into joke bombs and laugh machines. And yes, some were so weird (including me) I kinda think it's freaky but oh well it's better that way than drowning in the river of boredom.

And yeah I'm not in my 'baju kurung' like everybody else. Instead, I wore a black dress with a white 'kebaya' top and at night I were in my jeans and sweatshirt (so not an appropriate attire for Eid :p).

One more thing; Happy Independence Day Malaysia! Proud of your 55 years of glory and peace (Y)

Hey, a week of Syawal had passed by and I haven't make those cheesy Eid wishes. So here you go, Happy Eid to all muslims, may Allah bless you. 

It's been a while since my last post and boy it feels so long that I grew into something boring. Oh well, screw that! Lately I've been adoring black leather and rustic jeweleries and truth to be told, I'm in love. And yes I'm lucky enough to own some new wardrobe pieces channeling those two elements.

Hello weekenders! It was Saturday and as usual Kuala Lumpur is always busy with congested traffics and crowded places. As promised three weeks ago, I finally had my dessert. Thank you mummy! Since alexis ran out of pavlova (the only reason why we went to KL today), we ended up ordering a merinque. Thank god it's good.

It was nuts.

Over all it was a good day after spending too much time at home doing nothing. I've been enjoying my semester break for a month now and I must say there are still so many things to be done and so many food yet to be eaten. 

birthday bash

Another day has come and today some lucky people are celebrating their birthday. Cheers! Happy birthday guys!! Happy birthday to you too my friend! Hold on to 20 while you can. A year in university was lots of fun, celebrating birthdays with closest friends while you're away from family and relatives. It was surprising and joyous. Below is my illustration of what's gonna happen on birthday.

Hey there! It's my sister. She's wearing a vintage sailor inspired dress passed to her by my 22yo cousin. My cousin used to wear the dress when she was just a child. I just love the structure of the dress and the invincible material and lets not forget the two type prints - polka dots + roses.

Oh yeah! Did i mentioned she wore an Adidas sneaker?
